Summer Reading
Welcome to Lower School! Each summer, our school provides suggested book titles to encourage summer reading. The books listed for 1st grade feature beginner readers (meant to be attempted by the student) as well as beginner chapter books, social-emotional learning books, and graphic novels (meant to be enjoyed with a grownup or family)! These titles are only suggestions. The most important thing is that students read all summer and are enjoying it. Rereading favorites is also encouraged! We recommend your child reads 20 minutes a day all summer.
